Local music students & rising stars take the stage for a jazz jam! Featuring students from the award-winning jazz bands at Mount Si High School in Snoqualmie, WA and Twin Falls Middle School in North Bend, WA. With Chris Clark, bass & Brian Gmerek, drums. Middle schoolers perform at 5PM, followed by high schoolers at 7 & 8:30PM!
22 CWU JAZZ COMBO I with MATT WENMAN
Come check out this fabulous sextet from Central Washington University featuring their top grad student jazz performers! Also with one of our favorite local music educators on alto saxophone, Matt Wenman. Sure to be a great evening of tunes and jazz arrangements.

2 HB RADKE & CRAIG HOYER
HB is a well-known crooner and funny guy, in addition to being a trumpet-player and songwriter. His popular recordings date back to his "Jet City Swingers: Live" CD which has been a best seller, and his Vegas-style shows have been featured around the world! He’s joined this night by pianist and philosopher Craig Hoyer. A free-spirited interpreter of melodies, his song "Wild Hippopotamus" is a Boxley's favorite.

Vocalist Stillwell has a conversationally warm sound & welcoming approach to her naturally gifted voice. Her selections are of interesting jazz standards & classics and her voice appeals to everyone - she's a hit! Check out her album "So This Is Love." Joined by pianist Ed Weber.

16 JIMMIE HERROD & RANDY HALBERSTADT
Herrod is an up-and-coming singer/songwriter with the tone of Little Jimmy Scott! He’s performed with many Seattle-area groups as well as in musical productions at the 5th Avenue Theatre! Halberstadt is a wonderful, harmonic pianist and a major figure on the Pacific Northwest jazz scene! Check out his early Pony Boy recordings "Inner Voice" and his lyrical "Clockwork".

An excellent Seattle jazz guitarist greatly influenced by Wes Montgomery and Jimmy Smith. He grew up in the New York jazz scene and graduated with a degree from Berklee! Forty years later, now focusing on recording and composing, Kohl will be performing great tunes. Joined by a fabulous band including bassist Steve Luceno.

Thomas is an amazing multi-instrumentalist: trumpet, flugelhorn, tenor & alto saxophones - a true master characterized by warmth, lyricism & rhythmic authority! This will be a groovy night of tunes from his new CD release of The Cats: Neo-Boogaloo! The Boogaloo style originated in the 60s when Latin rhythms were combined with elements of soul, funk, R&B and jazz. Joined by John Hansen, piano; Chuck Kistler, bass & Adam Kessler, drums.

Filled with fun Latin, R&B & funky grooves, vocalist West takes it from high-texture to stripped-down beauty and reflection! JazzTimes Magazine writes "West is a first rate swinger, comparable in style and gusto to Ernestine Anderson, though the warmth of her ballads is more reminiscent of Natalie Cole." She shares a CD with husband/drummer Marty Tuttle entitled "Snapshot" available on Pony Boy Records, and they're currently working on a brand new recording! Cole's music is clearly jazz, following forward from the intense traditions of the jazz masters.
