“Judy Sings Judy” is Moulton’s fabulous tribute to legendary songstress Judy Garland - awarded the BroadwayWorld.com Critic's Choice Award for “Best Theatrical Event of 2010”! Vocalist Judy Ann Moulton has been in demand as a featured musical theater performer in the Pacific Northwest for over 20 years, delighting audiences with her graceful voice and powerful stage presence. She will draw from every facet of Ms. Garland's career in radio, movies, television and the concert stage, and she promises to entertain audiences as she performs these beloved songs in her own rich, expressive voice that has been described as "nothing short of amazing" (Seattle Times).
Tickets also include dinner and proceeds benefit Valley Center Stage, a not-for-profit theater arts organization in North Bend, WA devoted to igniting the spontaneous creative spirit that exists in all people.

22 LLOYD CHISHOLM
Great local trumpet player who has performed at concerts and festivals all over the world. He developed his Hard-Bop style while working with legends Nat Adderley, Stanley Turrentine, Kenny Drew Jr., Curtis Fuller and Idress Sulieman, among others, for over 30 years in various groups.

Come perform at Boxley's vocal jam session every first Tuesday of each month. Open to all aspiring jazz vocalists, high school through adult. Relaxed, supportive and fun environment - all-ages, so invite your family & friends! Joined by an incredible professional rhythm section, so come prepared with charts for a favorite jazz standard or blues and support your fellow vocalists in the Greater Seattle area.

Jam session featuring special guests and local players! Come join the fun, open to all.
16 BOB BAUMANN & FRIENDS
A showcase of many wonderful local jazz and blues instrumentalists and vocalists! Led by great bass player/jazz accordionist Baumann who has been performing for over 20 years. A long-time professional musician and teacher, he's also been featured here with one of our favorite local bands, AlpenFolk. Also with Harold Drews, guitar; Danny Kolke, piano, Nancy Mickel, voice & Catherine Drews, voice.

Local music students & rising stars take the stage for a jazz jam! Featuring students from the award-winning jazz bands at Mount Si High School in Snoqualmie, WA, Twin Falls Middle School in North Bend, WA and Chief Kanim Middle School in Fall City, WA. With Chris Clark on bass. Middle schoolers perform at 5pm, followed by high schoolers at 7pm!

4 CHRIS MORTON & MICHAEL MARCUS
Listen for arrangements from this excellent pianist that are groovy and in-the-pocket. He has performed with many Seattle jazz groups and has shared the stage with greats Bobby Shew, Jon Fedchock, Brian Lynch and many more. Melodic and swingin', playing standards and jazz classics. Joined by bassist Marcus.
11 BOB HAMMER & CHRIS CLARK
Local jazz legends live among us! Pianist Hammer spent most of his career as an arranger, penning classics for Woody Herman and Charles Mingus. He also worked with other jazz greats such as Gene Krupa, Johnny Hartman, Woody Herman, Elvin Jones & more! Bassist Clark played all through the Los Angeles hey-day, going back to his appearance with Les Brown's Band in "The Nutty Professor," starring Jerry Lewis.
18 TIM VOLPICELLA DUO
Guitarist Tim Volpicella has performed for audiences in the United States, Europe, Japan and South America. His resume includes appearances at the Monterey Jazz Festival, San Francisco Jazz Festival, San Jose Jazz Festival and the Lennie Tristanno Jazz Festival (Naples, Italy), and he was a five-year member of the John Carlton Orchestra at Harrah’s Headliner Room (Reno, NV). A skilled audio producer, he was also nominated for a Grammy Award for his production work on The PapaHugs Band 2011 release “Are We There Yet?”
25 NATE PARKER DUO
Parker is a great Seattle bass player, solid timekeeper and melodic soloist. He's dedicated himself to the old-school, no amp approach and has developed a big sound!

5 VERN SIELERT DEKTET - Special 10-Piece Band!
Sielert is a wonderful trumpet player, melodic soloist and esteemed educator. He has performed with artists such as Rosemary Clooney, Freddie Hubbard and Bobby Shew, and with bands like the Lionel Hampton Big Band and the Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra, as well as with a host of Seattle's best jazz bands. He's also the Associate Professor of Trumpet and Jazz Studies at the University of Idaho. Performing selections this night from his 2006 Pony Boy release "From There to Here."
12 MORDY FERBER TRIO - Special Guest Guitarist from NYC!
Powerful, contemporary guitarist & composer from New York City with a singular style! His melodic sense is straight to the point - and his tone is edgy and captivating. Legendary drummer Jack DeJohnette says, "I love Mordy's sound and his feeling. He writes beautiful compositions. He is committed to the highest level of quality and creativity and is not afraid to take risks."
19 GREG WILLIAMSON QUARTET
Drummer Williamson is Mr. Pony Boy Records himself, leading an excellent jazz quartet and "[driving] with a big band energy!" He's appeared on over 30 albums and toured with the big bands of Woody Herman, Glenn Miller and Harry James. Check out his other groups: The Pony Boy All-Star Big Band and the Young Lizards, as well as his latest album "Scenes and Voyages”.
26 JAY THOMAS TRIO
Thomas is an amazing multi-instrumentalist: trumpet, flugelhorn, tenor & alto saxophones - a true master characterized by warmth, lyricism & rhythmic authority! Says Jim Wilke, host of KPLU's Jazz Northwest: "What always strikes me about Jay...is the unbridled enthusiasm for making music he brings to every setting - that, and the strong lyrical quality he brings to all his horns." 6 BERNIE JACOBS: HERO WORSHIP
Called a “triple threat," Bernie Jacobs sings and plays flute and as well as soprano, alto, and tenor saxophones. He is a self-taught musician who has performed professionally for more than 40 years, effortlessly transitioning through rhythm and blues, jazz, and pop landscapes. In addition to performing with his own group, BJQ, Bernie has sung with the Seattle Repertory Jazz Orchestra and Full Circle Ensemble, and he is the front man for drummer André Thomas’ Quiet Fire. Performing tunes this night inspired by many of his musical heroes.

27 PAUL GREEN QUARTET
Green is a dynamic vocalist and harmonica player specializing in blues, R&B and jazz. He's performed with Bruce Springsteen, Clarence Clemons and many others, throughout New Jersey, California, Chicago and beyond. Inducted into the Washington Blues Society Hall of Fame in 2008, he's one of the best! This Pony Boy Records edition of the Paul Green Quartet will be workshopping Paul's new collection of original jazz and be-bop lyrics. Featuring compositions by Lee Morgan, Hank Mobley and Horace Silver.

Boxley's own piano master takes the reins on Sunday Nights! Strongly influenced by the soulful stylings of Oscar Peterson and Gene Harris, performing blues, gospel, straight-ahead jazz and original compositions & arrangements.
